The potential of professional development of a teacher: taking into account the age characteristics of the voice resources of a person in ontogenesis

The reliance of modern pedagogy on the ideas of anthropology contributes to the development of competencies by teachers and the study of integrative knowledge from various fields: physiology, pedagogy, age-related characteristics of personality development, as well as the development of the voice. The article analyzes the universal competencies of the pedagogical education standard, which include competencies that reflect the ability to support the development of the personality and voice of a student (pupil). The purpose of the article is to reveal the age-related stages and characteristics of the voice resources of an individual as a potential for the professional development of a teacher. The functions of the human voice are also discussed. A teacher must know, hear, and understand the voice characteristics of their students and the possible reasons for these characteristics. A person's voice is formed in the body through the process of voice formation, and it reflects the emotional, nervous, and mental state, as well as the tempo, rhythm, and timbre. The analysis of literature, the author's experience in teaching and observations, allowed us to interpret the relationship between voice, accompaniment options, and environmental obstacles. We analyzed the theories of age-related development in accordance with the leading activities, stages, crises, physiological range, expressive range, and "islands of silence" – the localization of partial loss of voice functions. We also demonstrated the laws that govern the development of a child's body and psyche, which provides a foundation for effective teaching practices. By understanding these patterns, educators can facilitate the development of a child's voice, helping them to express and enhance their vocal abilities.
